Meet Courtney!
Hey Y’all! I’m Courtney the older and wiser one in this sister duo. Ha, just kidding. I am a wife, mom of two girls, dog mom and teacher. I am just an everyday mom multitasking through the day and trying to find tips and tricks to make this crazy thing called life more fun, easier and a bit less expensive. I’m the gal that thinks chips and salsa with a side of margarita is a meal, and taking a beautiful hike should be considered a vacation. In my free time you will find me outside, being a taxi driver, or finding the next great deal on Ebay. I’m originally from the great state of Texas where food and music are king. I’m equally in love with North Carolina where beaches and mountains reign supreme. Meet Caitlyn!
Hey guys, I’m Caitlyn, and I am almost a decade younger than Courtney. We share a lot of similar interests, but I think you will find us wildly different. (Courtney microwaves chicken nuggets, and I follow recipes.) Also born and raised in Texas, I made a few stops along the way before I landed in my new home in North Carolina. I brought my puppy, Leo, with me and we’re both happy to be much closer to my sister and her crazy wonderful family.
Everyone knows, I’m the problem solving sister; I’ve always had a knack for learning new skills and figuring things out. I’m what they call a Double Dore, with degrees in Engineering and Business Administration from Vanderbilt. Now I lead teams that create intelligent software products. In my free time I love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I am a natural foodie and enjoy preparing food for my friends and family. Throughout life, art has always been a hobby of mine. Blending that with my engineering background, I love designing new spaces for my home. Mostly, I love when all these things come together. I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences, and the tips I have learned along the way with you all.
